Welcome to my Wine and Food Blog!

 

With this blog I hope to share my love of wine and food with you while giving you some important and basic tips when cooking with wine, pairing wine, and finding wines that fit a certain occasion.  I am an avid wine and food lover.  I love to cook and have a deep appreciation for wine.  I have explored many vineyards in the Texas Hill Country, and California and will soon visit the Oregon wine country as well. 

 

 

My back story: 

 

My name is Lindsay and I am an elementary school teacher in Austin, Texas.  I was born in Colorado and moved to the Lone Star State in 1994.  I graduated from Bowie High School I received my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Concordia University Texas.  I then went on received my Masters in Educational Administration.  Teaching brings me great joy and I could never imagine myself doing anything else.  I love to read, camp, cook, run, bike, and explore the wonderful Texas Wine Country!  I am excited to share with you some of my recipes, wine pairings, party tips and serving suggestions.  ENJOY!!!!!
